Rotherham road surface specialist SteelPhalt has been named a VIP Sponsor of children’s charity Circus Starr in recognition of its continued support for the group.

Over the past three years, SteelPhalt - part of the Harsco group of companies - has donated almost £1,000 to Circus Starr, the touring circus which provides free seats for thousands of disadvantaged, disabled or vulnerable children, whilst helping to raise funds for local charities.

SteelPhalt supports the charity’s Donated Ticket Programme, which allows thousands of children to attend free shows.

“We were delighted to be named a VIP Sponsor of this very worthwhile charity,” said SteelPhalt Commercial Manager, Dean Raynor.

“As a company, we have an active policy of supporting young people, mainly through our backing for South Yorkshire school education and road safety projects.

“But when we heard about the great work Circus Starr do with children who might otherwise never get to enjoy a live performance, we knew we wanted to be involved.”
